Disconnect and focus
The more connected you are more dispersed. Have you noticed that?
I started to apply this in my life. I'm working on the computer less often do not answer the phone, take care not to let the Twitter connected directly and only read my e-mails twice a day (send an email to nilzo.andrade @ uni-yoga.org . com and you will receive a standard response). I list the three most important things to be resolved by day. The rest of the day, I dedicate to interact with people and write down my ideas. It's amazing with the creative flow increases when you disconnect.
It is simple to test. Exit the front of the notebook. Turn off your phone, your iPhone , your PDA and blackberry . Take a moleskine and a pen. Go for a coffee, to the beach or the park and write down ideas and sketch. You'll notice that at first there will be an increase in anxiety. And if anyone needs to talk to me? What if I receive an important e-mail now?
Honestly, how many calls or e-mail's really urgent you received in your life?

My friend Marco, for example, going to the park to see things differently.
Having overcome the initial anxiety, relax and enjoy. You open a channel productive and creative amazing. Powerful intuitions only happen when descontraímos and leave the mind free. I'm sure you'll like.
What is your tribe?
What is your tribe? I would say several. Work, family, art, culture, friends, hobbies, sports. We are subject to these and many others. They shape us, influencing our language, our dress, our success and even our life expectancy (part of the tribe of sedentary, obese smokers-depressants, the traffickers or the suicide bombers and how many years you will live).
Knowing this is important for two reasons: to have more success in your business and have a better quality of life.
For the first of the reasons, I recommend knowing the work of Seth Godin. He is the author of the blog marketing world's most popular. published bestsellers in the same area and recently launched the book Tribes .

Seth Godin knows drinking milk in the box without dribbling.
The guy is amazing. Can in this book show how people seek meaning in the things they consume. We want to be part of a tribe, even using red hat with blue dress.
For the second, I recommend knowing the work of DeRose . One of the biggest Brazilian authors, with more than 20 books, wrote the book over Yôga world's most comprehensive, the Treaty of Yoga .
He wrote about tribes, but giving a name more erudite: egregore . When two or more people join with a purpose, there is formed a egregore or tribe.
And that is very useful to live productive and happy years more, for when choosing a tribe to join, ask questions such as: 1) as are those with 20 or 30 years older than me? They are healthy?, 2) how are your relationships? They have long friendships? Have stable emotional relationships?
After all, who wants a leader who does not know about how to form tribes and who will die soon?
Leadership and wind energy
For me, the role of a leader is to show paths. When we all have blurred vision, someone who must have a lucid vision that shows where we should go.
T. Boone Pickens shows us an example of clarity and he has a plan . He is an oil millionaire in the U.S. and is taking a different view on the consumption of fossil fuel that will one day end. In a video of 4 min , suggests that they begin to use wind power and does so in a very simple way, alternating white board, maps and slides in your presentation.
He could even sit idly by or would need to do anything (after all, is a billionaire), but is giving an example of leadership and taking action.
Dance around the world and be happy!
I met Matt Harding for about two years. Not personally, of course, but through You Tube .
In these days of doing nothing, a friend sharing nonsense asked me: "Have you ever seen a video of the guy who does a little dance chumbrega in various locations around the world?". I watched, I gave a good laugh and forgot.
But these days, reached a post for me the guy talking, talking 5 min in the type style ignite . And I was amazed! The guy has more than 3 million hits on their videos and now shares his experience with the world.
Check out:
But the most interesting is that he started dancing alone and, after a while, managed to attract people to dance with him (including his girlfriend joined the cause!).
Below you can see what he did in 2008.
I took some lessons:
- if you have an idea, do not wait. As Master Yoda says, "Do or do not - there is no try."
- when you leave a clear mission, it is easier to find supporters (even though his mission is not that awesome).
- people love being in the company of people who know where they are going.
- a simple idea can be increased.
Maybe it took some inspiration for 2009?
If you want to understand how he did it all, watch the videos of him below.
